God’s unique vision for your church isn’t an accident.

It’s how He intended every church to function, as a dynamic and diverse body of interconnected parts working together to reach different people in different ways. He knew His mission to save the world would thrive in our unity, not our uniformity.

But resisting uniformity can be difficult, especially when you feel like you’re on your own. When we first searched for partnerships for our churches, we often felt the pressure to compromise our values or dilute our flavor to secure funding or support.

Until we found Converge.

Our network is a century-old collection of like-hearted churches united in the same mission: to help people meet, know, and follow Jesus by starting and strengthening churches together worldwide.

With Converge PacWest, you can get more of what you need to fulfill your distinct vision and further God’s mission in your unique community.

We take the time to build a relationship with you first because your personhood is more valuable than your pastorship. We help you discern where you’re healthy and where you’re not to form a tailored path for growth.

We infuse your local body with strengthening resources for ministry strategy, capital campaigning, and leadership development so you can reach your full potential. And we help you stay in step with God’s timeless truth while giving you the freedom to be you without prescriptions, mandates, or carbon-copied models.

Ministry is better together, so don’t do it alone.

We’re Converge PacWest.

A diverse family of churches ensuring your unique church is connected, healthy, and making an impact.

From violence to victory: former gang member shifts to gospel ministry

A farmer who saved a blustering, bellowing cow from death in an Iowa barn reminded Ray his life didn’t equal a full-stop failure. Drug dealing sent Ray’s parents to prison when the California boy was six or seven. Within a decade, he was in a gang with his uncles and cousins. They carried guns, sold […]

God turns Converge PacWest’s five-year goal into a three-year accomplishment

Two colossal challenges collided in late 2019 when Chris Lovelace became Converge PacWest’s church planting director. First, he and fellow leaders agreed to trust God for 25 new planters in northern California, northern Nevada and Hawaii by 2026. The collision came just a few months later: COVID-19 unleashed a prolonged, erratic disruption of work, life […]

Satan’s worst nightmare

Elizabeth and William Nicoleti didn’t need a thermometer last month to realize the building where Aviva Igreja Cristã worships was warmer than expected. A church member who climbed atop the roof discovered the why behind the warmth: someone had stolen copper wires that supply power to the air conditioner. Then the disciple found a black […]

“I never thought it would be us”

Rodel Balingit didn’t feel too excited when he visited a Bible study in the early days of Forever Community Church. It was Mother’s Day 2021, Benjamin and Hilda Padua explained, when Rodel and his wife, Maryanne, came. She wanted him to go to the Bible study as part of the special day for moms. Then […]

California church offers rest to road-weary commuters

Brentwood is a place to live. But the California city isn’t exactly a place for life. People struggle to find jobs in Brentwood or neighboring Antioch. So, they work closer to San Francisco. Brentwood empties out around 5 a.m. every day as people make the long commute to work. Those same workers don’t get home […]
